You people may or may not know what the founder’s red pill is but I am here to let you know. Thank you Mike Church for your daily history lesson and all you have created with your little film company. Mike can be found on Sirius Patriot 144 and on XM Radio. We the people do not want to know, fail to understand, or are simply misled into passiveness which encourages the government to take and take and take. To change our very way of life. Andrew Wilkow of the Wilkow Majority uses sound logic and excellent political reasoning to express his views and beliefs. My favorite of these is his person A, person B example. If person A is on welfare and has free health care but smokes two packs a day and drinks like a sailor in port then what gives person A the right to be entitled to person B’s income and property through social programs which person B pays for when person A pays nothing. Andrew calls person A the “zero liability voter” which makes perfect sense. He, person A, receives all the benefits for voting for social programs but has no liability because he pays no taxes. I have no problem paying my taxes and so should everyone else. Almost 50 percent of Americans pay 100 percent of the taxes and now with the Bush tax cuts about to expire, the health care tax starting up in September, and cap and tax on the horizon I will have to either let some bills go unpaid or just quit my job. I would rather go back to sw VA, plant some corn and potatoes, buy a cow and some chickens, and live a simple life that keeps me in the lower tax brackets. This is the problem with socialism. Should my incentive be taken away to work hard and provide the entrepreneurial spirit then I will lay down and provide only what it takes to survive and not prosper. If the top 50 percent of Americans take this attitude then who pays the taxes which fund the social programs. Socialism, Nazism, and Communism has NEVER worked people. For the sake of our children and grand children why in hell would we replace this Republic with Socialism?
The simple truth about the government today and what the founders had in mind when they set up this republic is that it has been distorted and warped and bent to the will of politicians and with every twist and knot we lose liberty. The right to own property and if you people don’t think taxing you 40, 50, even 60 percent is not the theft of your liberty then you have been drinking the cool-aid and need, must take the founders red pill! THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS THE WELFARE CLAUSE! It’s the preamble dummy not a clause and not an amendment. The constitution is not a living breathing document. As Mark Levin wrote in Liberty and Tyranny, To say that the Constitution is a living and breathing document is to give license to arbitrary and lawless activism.
When the government sector employee counting his benefits has a gross income that is twice as his counterpart in the private sector we fail the private sector worker making half the wage and paying all of the tax to support those government workers. How can we sustain unsustainable debt and deficits? That is the question you won’t hear as often as you should. You never hear an answer to the question but some remark about social justice or “skin in the game”. I have been skinned and I am not doing any more to pay for big government. I think I will quit my job, go home and get my 99 weeks of unemployment while I work under the table and report no income. This is what so many of the unemployed who choose those benefits do with their time. I know because I have seen it and continue to report those people who are all about fraud and their XBox games and their couches and their dope.
Shovel ready jobs and the infrastructure and how to create those jobs. The construction industry has an unemployment percentage of 20.1. I propose we get some of those construction workers back to work on the fence that separates the US and Mexico. For some reason we can’t have a secure border… well not some reason… the reason is a blanket amnesty and a brand new 10 to 20 million person Democratic voting block. Unsecure borders are at fault for the crimes against Americans by illegal immigrants. Why do the Progressives continue to put their party before the welfare of the country? They have for almost one hundred years and continue to do so every day. Woodrow Wilson, in 1913, pushed for the 16th and 17th amendments to the Constitution. Anyone know what the 16th Amendment did? I’ll tell you word for word, “The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.” DID YOU NOTICE THERE IS NOT A LIMIT ON YOUR INCOME TAX? INCOME TAXES come from this Amendment and coincides with Henry Ford’s Model T 1913-1914 move to the new Highland Park Complex and one new car was rolling off the line every 93 seconds. Americans were too rich not to pay an Income Tax. The first upper class tax was 7%. How much do you pay now? Personally I pay somewhere around 35%, so I ask, has my liberty been stolen in the name social justice? Then they say, then how do we pay for this or that? Easy, states can tax for their own needs. Why send tax to the Federal Government and then have it sent back down to the state when the state knows more about how the state needs to spend their taxes.
The 17th Amendment says, “The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, elected by the people thereof, for six years; and each Senator shall have one vote. The electors in each State shall have the qualifications requisite for electors of the most numerous branch of the State legislatures.
When vacancies happen in the representation of any State in the Senate, the executive authority of such State shall issue writs of election to fill such vacancies: Provided, That the legislature of any State may empower the executive thereof to make temporary appointments until the people fill the vacancies by election as the legislature may direct.
This amendment shall not be so construed as to affect the election or term of any Senator chosen before it becomes valid as part of the Constitution.” Do you have any idea how this was a fundamental change in the Senate and how we are governed? This took the previous right of the State legislators to appoint Senators away from the states and put those seats to be filled with popular vote. Well Andy this is a good idea. This lets the people select their Senators. Well NO this is not a good idea. This takes the State representation out of the equation. Then the Senators came home and met with the state government to go over policy and the needs of the state. Now people like Reid, Pelosi, Frank, and others receive most of their campaign funding from out-of-state people and companies who have an agenda that differs from that of the state. Now those Senators visit the state government for photo ops. If you feel I am completely wrong then read something else. I do not have time to debate with the progressive that cannot be changed but if you think there is some truth here and your liberty is in jeopardy then by all means keep reading and do some research. Take the founders red pill.
